Description:

• Style: The hat features a broad, stiff brim and a high felt crown designed to protect the wearer from the sun and rain. The "lemon squeezer" design was a hallmark of the official Scout uniform prescribed by founder Robert Baden-Powell.

• Material: The hat is constructed from durable wool felt with an interior leather sweatband and a leather outer band secured by a buckle.

• Insignia: It is adorned with a metal fleur-de-lis badge, the universal symbol of the Scouting movement. A red bristle plume is attached, which in some Commonwealth scouting associations indicated the rank of an Assistant Scoutmaster.
